Right, so getting back in updating on my life so far. I've recently been down to K.L for a job assessment by the people at Jobstreet. It was for the vacancies as management trainee at Sony, Penang. Talking about the assessment, they prepared stuff like the I.Q test, math test, English test and practical tests on your skills in Microsoft Office softwares (MS words, Excel, Powerpoint). To be honest the assessment was easy. The difficult part lies in the time duration. The average time given in each test was about 15 - 20 minutes, MAX. The written tests ranged from 30 to 40 questions. And the pc software assessments? Near impossible to complete it! The test on Microsoft Word was merely used to see the speed of our typing. Couldn't complete it. But it was a relief that the others who were there didn't finish it up as well.
Then came the Excel test. Pretty easy I would say. It was just simply entering the data according to the papers given to you. And sum it up using the software's formula feature. The test on Powerpoint was moderate though. Summarising the history and info on Sony and squeeze it into 3 slides. We were asked to make the slides as creative as possible, too. The whole assessment session held was about 3 hours including the interview, which was arranged as the last part of this assessment. But it was indeed the most rushing, hectic and depressing 3 hours I have ever had. Was really unhappy with the little time given for a large amount of questions. Perhaps it was to make us see that time is precious. Why do I say so? 'Cause I don't think a genius could've gotten the answer right just by looking at the questions, without thinking of course. Time was really insufficient!!

Okay so enough of complaining. Since I was in KL so I decided to scout around the big shopping malls to see if I could buy anything interesting that I can actually use. While hanging around KLCC, I entered this shop called Room. This shop sells mainly interior stuff that are mostly for decoration purposes. Then there was this deck of cards that caught my attention. Unique, was what went thru my head when I saw it. You could say that the price for it was rather erm... unique as well, for a deck of playing cards. I had no hesitance in getting it. If it wasn't for the price I would've gotten a few more of it for my friends. Alas, I couldn't. I almost forgot that I was hanging out in KLCC, where everything is priced sky high everywhere.

Then I headed down to a bookstore to get a book for myself. After thinking of the 4 hours or so journey back to Penang, I decided to get something funny to keep me from boredom in the car. But don't be surprised that you could actually see me reading a book. It's a jokes book. Not those small fonts novels with long and winding paths to conclusions. That's probably the reason why I hate reading. So this book of jokes here that I have was nicely wrapped when I spotted it. Was a bit reluctant to get it because I wanted to get a peek at a few pages if it was worth buying. Few moments after getting it, I discarded the wrapper and read it for a while. Wow, unbelievable. I actually READ something while in a shopping mall. *LoL* In fact, I've never done that before. But then again, I never get to finish it up while on the way back to my hometown. I had to wait for quite a long time for my uncle who was late and before I could reach the 200th page of the book, the sky got darker and darker. Shiet~! I had no choice but to sit in the car staring out the window and endure this boredom. *Yawn*
I guess that's about it for now. This recent trip out of Penang was not for holidaying. So no photos of
P.S... why the hell is it that everytime I went down to K.L, the fuel price shoots up??! Gawd damnit!
