Seriously, before I even entered the puberty stage I had never EVER planned to keep sideburns when I go to the hair salon. I usually tell the hairstylist to cut it, shave it with a blade or electronic shaver and maybe even WAX it (kidding la!) Of course after many times doing it at countless different hair salons, I realised that it grows back sooner than I can pluck them out of my (smooth) skin. LoL~ The point is, it was never my choice to have it grow wildly at the side of my face. Lately when getting a haircut I no longer ask the hairstylists to get rid of my sideburns. Instead, I just tell them to keep it neat and tidy. Of course I would prefer to have it disappear from my face but it really grows back quickly and inevitably, THICKER!
A fellow trainee few months ago even asked me if I have a hairy chest! Just by looking at my sideburn. I know that my legs are hairy but that should NOT be an indication that my chest is ape-like. Other people even give comments and suggestion about what am I going to do with the sideburn when it grows longer. Some to the extent of asking me to keep a thin moustache like Craig David. You guys know him right? The one who sang the popular song "7 days" a while back. Good, save my effort for uploading his photo here. Hahaha~
I think I'm gonna have a haircut soon, yet to decide which hair salon to go to since I hop around to try out different ones to see which hairstylist is worth going back to after the first time. This time I might consult them to do something about the sideburn. Not to get rid of them, but probably to make it to at least grow neatly and maybe develop a pattern. Afterall it is already very obvious around the side of my cheeks, might as well get a shape out of it. *wink*
