Twisting and turning on the bed as he tried to resume his slumber. Class starts at half past nine, but Shaun just couldn't be bothered. After all, today's subject in class is the one he hates the most. That single lesson alone is enough to keep him away from going to college. "Econs on Mondays... great! What a way to start the week," he sighed with a slight tinge of mockery in his thoughts. Rubbing his fists against his eye lids to get out from his sleepiness, Shaun suddenly recalled that his mobile phone was left on his desk. Untouched and uncharged. Previous night he was gleefully sending numerous text messages to a girl whom he had just got the number from. He smiled to himself as the thoughts of the girl with a saintly smile clouded his mind. Shaun didn't really have the guts to ask for her number at the first place. It was neither his low self-confidence nor his physical appearance. Deep down he knows that he's one of the good looking guys around in his class. But the perfectly shaped hazel eyes that complements the sweet looking smile could make any man weak in the knees. Such was the splendor she possessed that it never fails to make heads turn whenever she crossed paths.
Shaun's reluctance to attend class slowly diminish as he grew more and more eager to meet the lass whom he just befriended with lately. Brushing his teeth while still in his shorts, he held his cell phone on the other hand and read the messages sent by her. Though it's nothing more than a normal friendship, he somehow felt lively to be able to know her and being in the same course with the girl. Done packing his stuff. He dashed out of his room and down the stairs. For a moment he looked at the refrigerator, pausing and thinking whether to have a breakfast or not. But Shaun being Shaun, decided to walk out of the house with haste and with something else in his mind. Or someone, to be precise. It's not that he is worried to be late for the lesson. Impatience is the best word to describe him now that there's at least something for him to look forward to when it comes to attending the class that bores him the most.
After twenty minutes gone while driving to the campus, he got off the car and heads straight to room B-36. Not many people were seen along the hallway. He took another glance and finally spotted the person he had been wanting to see since the moment he got out of his bed. Shoving his way through the small crowd, he flailed his arm in the air towards her and shouted her name excitedly. She turned and looked at him with a glowing pair of eyes that could just brighten up anyone's day. "Hey, Sam... wait up!" he called out to her.
Her name's Sam, in short for Samantha.
